This resin set holds the engine exhaust stubs for the Messerschmitt Bf 109 subject in the G-6 version. It is not a model of the airplane but a detail accessory. The castings have suggested hollow mouths and fine modeling, so they will replace the solid plastic exhausts from the kit with a more faithful rendition.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of the German fighter of the second half of the war. It was powered by a Daimler-Benz inverted V12 engine. The rows of exhaust stubs along the sides of the forward fuselage were among its characteristic items.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue first, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue the stubs with super glue (cyanoacrylate). In color they come into their own in dark metallic shades with burnt steel and heat staining toward the mouths.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
