Quickboost 1:48 Bf 109G control stick is a resin detail set that replaces the plastic control stick of the cockpit with a faithfully drawn part.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin detail set in 1:48 scale adds a faithfully rendered control stick to the cockpit of a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G fighter. It is not a kit of the airplane but an accessory that replaces the simplified plastic stick from the box with a finely cast part with the grip and the trigger drawn in. The set is meant for more experienced modelers.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G, nicknamed Gustav, was the most widespread version of the German fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605 inverted V12 engine and the machine served on every front until the end of the war. The control stick is one of the small but conspicuous details that liven up the tight cockpit of this aircraft.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release agent from the mold. Separate the parts from the casting blocks by cutting, not by snapping, and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand the resin with respiratory protection or wet, because resin dust is harmful to health. Spray the stick with a base coat and pick the grip and the trigger out lightly.
It is supplied as an unglued and unpainted resin set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
