The Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the late version of the famous German fighter in 1:48 scale from Eduard.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit in 1:48 scale from Eduard captures the Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4, one of the most developed production versions of the legendary German fighter of the end of the Second World War. It is a quality injection-molded plastic model with a finely engraved surface and a well-detailed cockpit. The particular contents of the boxing (decals and any photo-etch or masks) differ with the edition in which the kit is supplied.
The K-4 version, nicknamed Kurfürst, represented the peak of the development of the Bf 109 line and reached combat in the final phase of the war in 1944 and 1945. It was powered by a Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine and was marked by aerodynamic refinements and heavy armament concentrated in the fuselage and the propeller hub. The machine was designed for rapid mass production and was to face Allied air superiority over Germany.
Use liquid cement for plastic for clean and strong joints. Finish and paint the cockpit and the interior before closing the fuselage. Apply a primer before painting and lay the colors on with an airbrush in thin coats; the late German camouflage with its mottling comes out well with masks or templates. Settle the decals on a gloss clear coat and fix them with a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
