Quickboost 1:48 Bf 110C/D machine gun drum magazines is a resin aftermarket accessory for experienced modelers that adds faithfully cast drum magazines to the cockpit of this German twin-engine heavy fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is a resin accessory by the brand Quickboost (Aires) in 1:48 scale, not a standalone aircraft model. It contains faithfully cast drum (saddle) ammunition magazines for the defensive armament of a Messerschmitt Bf 110 plastic kit in the C and D versions. The small, sharply rendered parts bring the gunner's position to life and are intended for experienced modelers.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engine heavy fighter (Zerstorer) of the Second World War with a crew of two to three. The rear gunner operated a flexible machine gun, and interchangeable drum magazines of ammunition were part of serving it. The C and D versions represent early variants of this type.
These are small resin castings for the advanced. First wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks (the gates) off carefully and clean the cut faces up, always with respiratory protection. Because of the small size, cut with a sharp knife and glue with cyanoacrylate. Paint the magazines separately and fit them into the gunner's position only at the end.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. The aircraft kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
