The Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet is an American twin-engine carrier multi-role fighter and attack aircraft, a larger and more modern development of the original Hornet. Squadron VFC-12 serves as an aggressor unit of the US Navy and its aircraft wear striking camouflage imitating enemy machines for training in air combat.
Finish the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage up. The multi-color aggressor scheme calls for careful masking; apply the paint with an airbrush, fix the decals with gloss varnish and even the surface out with a matte overcoat. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue.
