AH-64 Apache tail rotor (1:48) is a 3D-printed detail set from Metallic Details for models of the attack helicopter. It replaces the tail rotor with a finer version.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains finely made 3D-printed, or rather resin, tail rotor parts for models of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory, not a standalone kit.
The AH-64 Apache is a twin-engine attack helicopter with a tandem cockpit, built to destroy armored vehicles and support ground troops. Its characteristic tail rotor is made up of two offset two-blade units in the shape of an X, and this is the assembly the set faithfully replaces.
Wash the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The thin blades are fragile, so work carefully. Apply a primer before painting and lay the flat shades on with an airbrush. Do the sanding with respiratory protection.
The set is an accessory, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
