The SPACE set joins color 3D decals on a decal backing paper with pre-painted steel photo-etched parts and it is meant for refining the interior of a model of the interwar fighter biplane Bristol Bulldog Mk.II in 1:48 scale. The raised 3D decals capture the instrument panel and the side panels with a three-dimensional relief, and the steel photo-etched parts add seat belts and fine cabin details. Thanks to the color printing you achieve a realistic look without slow painting.
The Bristol Bulldog was a British fighter biplane from the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. For most of that period it formed the backbone of the RAF fighter force. The open cabin with a clearly visible instrument panel makes the interior a prominent element of a finished model.
The 3D decals have no adhesive layer of their own: with a damp sponge and a drop of dish soap wet the backing paper only, lift the element off with tweezers and fix it with dispersion (white) glue. Do not use a softener, as it will attack the printed resin. Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Given the open cabin, pay attention to seating all the parts cleanly, because they will be clearly visible.
This is a detailing set, not a model of an aircraft. The model itself and glue are not included in the package.
