This is a resin detail set from Eduard in 1:48 scale that replaces the plastic wheels on a model of the British carrier-borne Blackburn Buccaneer S.2C and S.2D with more accurate castings. The set covers the main wheels and the nose wheel, goes together easily and offers sharper tread and hub detail. It is not a model, but an accessory for a separately sold plastic model.
The Blackburn Buccaneer was a British carrier-borne strike aircraft designed for low-level attack. The S.2C and S.2D versions served with the Royal Navy and carried anti-ship and strike weapons; the aircraft was known for a rugged structure built for carrier operations.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent and remove the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Prime before painting and even the tires out with a matte dark gray.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
