Eduard B-24D Liberator engines 1:48 is a resin set of radial engines for detailing a model of the American Consolidated B-24D heavy bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings faithfully rendered radial engines for a model of the American Consolidated B-24D Liberator heavy bomber in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a resin accessory that replaces the plastic engines with a finer rendering. The engine cowlings are not part of the set. The accessory is made by the Czech manufacturer Eduard.
The B-24D was the main early production version of the four-engine Consolidated B-24 Liberator heavy bomber, one of the most produced American aircraft of the Second World War. It was powered by four air-cooled Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasp radial engines with turbochargers, which gave the machine its long range and load capacity.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the engine cylinders with an airbrush and bring out the pushrods and the details with a brush and a wash. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
