Eduard 1:48 Consolidated B-24D Liberator, turbochargers is a resin detail set that replaces the turbochargers of the engines of the four-engine bomber with accurate castings.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains resin replacements for the turbochargers for models of the American long-range bomber B-24D Liberator in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of an aircraft but a detail accessory for superdetailing. On the Liberator the turbochargers were placed on the underside of the engine nacelles and are a conspicuous, clearly visible element, so making them more accurate raises the realism of a model markedly.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off and clean the faces up with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The metallic look of the turbines comes out nicely after a base in a dark shade, a coat of metallic paint sprayed over it and a fine wash into the recesses.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
