Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal barrel from the Aber brand in 1:72 scale, meant as a replacement for the plastic barrel on models of the German PaK40 anti-tank gun in the form with the late muzzle brake. This is not a kit but an accurate refining accessory. The machined barrel has a faithful profile and an exactly shaped muzzle brake.
The 75 mm PaK40 was the standard German towed anti-tank gun of the Second World War and one of the most widespread weapons of its category. Various types of muzzle brake were used on it during production; this form matches the late variant. Thanks to its penetration the gun kept its effectiveness even against the Allied tanks of the late war period.
Cut off the plastic barrel and clean it up, then glue the metal part in with cyanoacrylate glue. The metal form renders faithfully even the shape of the late muzzle brake, which plastic manages with difficulty in this scale. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a base coat.
This is a refining accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
