The Eduard TFace masking set for the B-24J Liberator in 1:48 scale is made for outlining the glazing from the outer and the inner side.
Responsibility details are not available.
The TFace designation sets this set apart from the basic variant of the same type: the masks are cut so that the glazing of a Consolidated B-24J Liberator model in 1:48 size can be masked from outside and inside. The frames thus get the right shade from both views, which matters on a bomber with large glazed areas, because you can see into the cockpit and into the turrets.
The Liberator was one of the most numerously built American combat aircraft of all. Its slender wing gave it a range that exceeded the older types, and that is why it found a use over the Atlantic and in the Pacific as well. The J version brought a nose turret and the unification of production standards between several plants. The crew commonly numbered around ten men and almost every one of them had glazing or a gun position beside him.
Start with the inner side. Spray the frames from inside with the interior shade, let them dry and only then glue the glazing into the fuselage. Paint the outer side together with the surrounding surface, so that the transitions follow on. When you can see inside, it pays to paint the interior of the fuselage behind the glass too, otherwise the plastic wall showing through will give away that the model is hollow. Any glue residue on the glazing has to be removed before masking.
