This is a resin (3D-printed) conversion set, not a kit in its own right. The set holds precisely printed resin parts that convert a basic model of the North American T-2 Buckeye trainer to the version wanted. The high print resolution makes it possible to reproduce shapes and textures that are hard to achieve in ordinary plastic.
The North American T-2 Buckeye is an American naval jet trainer of the Cold War period, used for advanced training including carrier landing practice. It served for decades and was exported abroad as well.
Before building, compare the resin parts against the base model, clean the uncured resin off them and cut them from the print supports. The conversion calls for the usual work on the plastic (cutting, sanding) and for bonding with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
