About product

MH Models 450 gallon drop tanks, 1:48

The resin set holds a pair of corrected streamlined drop tanks of 450 gallons in 1:48 scale. The tanks have a corrected, aerodynamically more accurate shape than the usual parts and are intended for models of the F-84F, RF-84F and F-101. This is a detail set, not an aircraft model.

Use

  • Wash the mold release residue off the parts and cut off the casting blocks.
  • Sand the cut faces and take care to protect your airways.
  • Glue the tanks onto the pylons with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
  • Apply primer before painting for an even surface.

Who it is for

For modelers building the American F-84F, RF-84F or F-101 jets who want a more accurate shape for the drop tanks.

The accessory is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
