This is NOT a standalone airplane model but a resin conversion set of parts in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Black Dog. It serves to rebuild a plastic model of the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor into the CV-22B special operations version (reworked sensors, covers, airframe details). It is intended for V-22 Osprey models.
The CV-22B Osprey is a tiltrotor version operated for special operations. It combines vertical takeoff and landing like a helicopter with the brisk range of a turboprop airplane; it serves for the insertion and support of units deep inside enemy territory. Against the basic version it carries different avionics and defensive systems.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before spraying we recommend a primer, which evens the surface out and brings out any bubbles that need fixing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
