Quickboost Defiant Mk.I - resin pitot tubes and antennas 1:48 as a more accurate replacement of the parts on the British turret fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Quickboost is not an aircraft model but a set of resin pitot tubes and antennas with which, in 1:48 scale, you replace the fragile or coarse plastic parts on a kit of the British Boulton Paul Defiant Mk.I fighter. The castings are thinner and straighter, and yet strong.
The Boulton Paul Defiant was a British fighter of the early Second World War with an unusual armament layout: all the machine guns were placed in a rotating gun turret behind the pilot, and the aircraft had no fixed forward-firing armament. It was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. The Mk.I version proved itself above all as a night fighter.
Wash the small castings in water with detergent because of the mold release agent. Separate them from the casting blocks by cutting and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); work over a tray with such thin parts so that they do not get lost. Fit the tubes at the end of the build and wear respiratory protection for any sanding.
It is supplied as an unpainted set of resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
