The set is intended for models of the Dornier Do 335A Pfeil fighter in 1:48 scale. It is based on the dimensions of the Tamiya kit.

The real subject

The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil was a German fighter of the end of the Second World War with the unusual layout of two engines in tandem, one tractor propeller at the front and one pusher at the rear. That made it one of the fastest piston-engined aircraft of its day.

Use and fitting

• Cut the individual elements out and apply them as wet decals onto a previously painted cockpit surface.
• Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as they could damage the 3D printed material.
• Secure thicker parts with a water-based glue or gloss varnish.
• It allows a faithful finish to the cockpit without lengthy painting.
