The double-sided masks 1:48 Douglas A-4B Skyhawk TFace from Eduard will cover the glazing of the cabin from inside and outside.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set in the TFace form deals with the glazing of a model from both sides. The inner shapes are applied before the cabin is closed up, the outer ones only while the fuselage is being painted. What the customer buys here is an accessory for a model of the B version, not a kit.
The A-4B was the first markedly more widespread production version of the Skyhawk. Against the original form it was given a boom for refueling in flight, modified controls and other small changes, thanks to which a light attack aircraft became a fully fledged machine of the carrier squadrons. The cabin was cramped and with a good view forward, which is clearly apparent on a model. Machines in this form carried the typical finish with a light upper surface and a white landing gear bay.
Spray the inner sides of the glazing with the shade of the cockpit before you seat them in the fuselage. Leave the outer shapes until the fuselage has its base colors finished. Give the paint time between sprays; haste when removing the masks is behind most torn edges. Small shortcomings can be fine-tuned with a thin brush, but a corrected edge never looks as good as a sprayed one. So prepare the clear parts in advance and set aside a working evening of their own for them.
