The Big Ed 1:48 Douglas A-4M Skyhawk mod. 1970 bundle of photo-etch from the Eduard brand for building the late Skyhawk.
Responsibility details are not available.
Eduard has brought together in one wrapper a collection of photo-etched parts for the late Skyhawk in the state matching the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. The year given in the name sets this item apart from the later form of the same machine.
The letter M closes the development of the light attack aircraft, and the machine came about for the US Marine Corps. Against the older examples it received a more powerful engine, a taller and more angular canopy with better visibility and a braking parachute at the root of the vertical tail. The small aircraft, which had no folding wingtips, carried a remarkable quantity of external stores for its size and stayed in the inventory for whole decades in the direct support of ground units.
On a jet aircraft the photo-etch shows most in the cockpit, in the landing gear bays and on the small covers. Before you set to gluing, line up the order of work so that nothing gets in the way when the fuselage is closed. Brass holds on a degreased surface; a fingerprint will reliably spoil the ground. Straighten thin parts with pressure from a flat blade, not with your fingers.
The package holds accessory parts; you have to have the aircraft itself ready for them.
