Eduard 1:48 EA-18G TFace is a set of cut masks that masks the cockpit of an EA-18G Growler model from inside as well as from outside. It is not a model but an accessory to a kit.

This is not an aircraft kit but an accessory to one. The Czech manufacturer Eduard, from Obrnice near Most, cuts the masks out of kabuki tape, that is a thin paper material with a mild adhesive that takes to curved glazing and comes off without residue after spraying. The TFace designation means that the set covers masking from both sides: one part of the mask is stuck on the outer surface of the glazing, the other from inside. The cockpit frame can then be sprayed from the inner side as well in the right interior shade, and when you look into the cockpit no transparent strip of unpainted plastic is left.
The EA-18G Growler is a two-seat carrier-borne electronic warfare aircraft of the US Navy derived from the airframe of the F/A-18F Super Hornet strike fighter. It entered service in the late 2000s as a replacement for the older EA-6B. Its task is jamming and suppressing air defenses. The cockpit is a two-seater with extensive glazing and broken-up framing, so double-sided masking pays off most of all on this type.
For modelers who build the Growler in 1:48 and want the cockpit frame faithful when seen from inside as well. Eduard also runs basic masks for the same type without the TFace designation, which mask only from outside: they are two different levels of the set. Under the same name there are further kinds of accessory as well, that is a pre-painted Zoom set, a full photo-etched set or a decal set; they are told apart by the exact designation of the line with each particular item.
The set holds masking material only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
