A detail set of the K-36L-3.5 ejection seat in 1:48 scale, combining resin parts with photo-etched brass. From the set you build a faithfully made seat including the straps and fine items, with which you replace the simplified seat from a basic model. It is an accessory for models with this seat, not an aircraft kit.
The K-36 is a family of modern Russian ejection seats, among the most reliable in the world, in service in a whole range of combat and training aircraft. The K-36L-3.5 version is used among others in the Yak-130 advanced trainer. The seat is a striking detail of an open cockpit.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent and cut the casting blocks off; separate the photo-etched straps with a sharp knife and shape them. Glue everything with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding resin. Paint the seat and pick the details out before setting it into the cockpit.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The basic model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
