This resin detail set captures the landing gear bays of the English Electric Canberra in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a kit that replaces the simplified plastic bays with richly worked relief of the walls, the piping and the stiffeners.
The English Electric Canberra is a British jet bomber, one of the most successful machines of its category with a long operational career. Thanks to the generous dimensions of its airframe its landing gear bays are roomy and offer a great deal of detail, which this set takes into account.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The bays come into their own once painted and a dark shade is run gently into the recesses.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for a kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
