F-101A/C Voodoo 1:48 - ADVANCED kabuki masks, New Ware

This is a masking set, not an airplane kit. The set from New Ware contains pre-cut self-adhesive masks in fine kabuki tape for the American supersonic machine F-101A/C Voodoo in 1:48 scale. The ADVANCED level is extended: compared with the basic set it adds masks for the frames and the colored seals of the cockpit glazing, and on top of that it covers further clear parts and the wheels. The masks are shaped for a particular kit of the given type in this scale and follow the frames of the canopy as well as the outline of the tires.

Use

• Degrease the clear parts before masking and let them dry, otherwise a mask will not hold.
• Lift the mask from the sheet with tweezers, seat it according to the frame and press it down above all around the edge.
• Spray the frames and the seals in the order given in the instructions - the color of the seals first, then the opaque camouflage.
• The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub, so you spray the hub separately.
• Lift the mask once the coat has become tacky, not after it has hardened completely.

For modelers who build the F-101 Voodoo in 1:48 scale and want to manage the colored seals of the canopy as well as clean cockpit frames. The ADVANCED level is a step between the basic BASIC and the most complete EXPERT.

An accessory for a model, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package. When spraying, work in a ventilated space and use a respirator.
