An injection-molded plastic kit of the North American P-51H Mustang fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer RS Models. The set is meant to be assembled and painted and offers markings for machines in service with units of the American Air National Guard (ANG). Small cast details and decal sheets are usually included; take the exact contents of the package from the particular release.
The P-51H was the last production version of the famous Mustang. It came about through thorough lightening and aerodynamic refinement of the airframe, which made it one of the fastest piston fighters of its day. It practically never saw action in the Second World War, and its career continued mainly in postwar service, among others with Air National Guard squadrons.
Cut the small parts from the sprues carefully and glue them with a thin cement for plastic. Before applying the decals we recommend spraying the surface with a gloss varnish, and then tying the result together with a matte overcoat. Metal surfaces come out well with metallic shades laid on with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
