Eduard F-102 Delta Dagger painting mask 1:48

An Eduard painting mask in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a modeling accessory, a set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks in fine masking tape. The masks follow the canopy framing and the circles of the wheels exactly, so they make quick, clean spraying possible without tedious cutting out. The subject is the American Convair F-102 Delta Dagger fighter. The model itself is obtained separately and is not included in the package.

The real subject

The Convair F-102 Delta Dagger is an American supersonic interceptor with a characteristic delta wing. It served in the 1950s and 1960s as part of air defense and was one of the first armed solely with guided missiles.

Use

• Lift the masks carefully off the sheet and stick them exactly onto the canopy glazing and the wheels of the model.
• Press the edges down carefully, so that paint cannot run underneath, and then spray the color of the frames.
• Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off, which gives you crisp, clean edges.
• It is used on a model that is assembled and has its base coat on.

Who it is for

• For modelers building the F-102 Delta Dagger in 1:48 scale.
• For anyone who wants clean masking of the glazing and the wheels without preparing masks by hand.

An accessory for modelers. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
