Calm Water Sheet - a film with the texture of calm water

This is a modeling material for making dioramas, not a kit. The transparent plastic film has the fine texture of a calm surface with small ripples molded on it, of the kind you find on a lake or a slowly flowing watercourse. The sheet measures about 200 x 300 mm at a thickness of roughly 0.5 mm and is supplied as a single sheet.

Use

• Back the underside with a suitable color or paint it, or lay the film over a printed surface, and you will get the impression of depth of water
• The material is easily cut with scissors or with a modeling knife to the shape of the water area
• The surface is readily painted over with acrylic paints, so you can tune the water to the shade you want
• The texture reacts to light and creates the impression of reflections on the surface

Who it is for

Suited to builders of dioramas, military and civil scenes and model landscapes who want a quick and clean answer to a water area without pouring resins. It also serves as a surface for further water effects.

We recommend working in a well-ventilated place and taking care over safety when cutting. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
