A modeling paint in the shade RLM 62 Grün from the Mr.Paint range. The 30 ml bottle is ready to be sprayed with an airbrush straight from the contents, with no further thinning.
Responsibility details are not available.
RLM 62 Grün is a green shade of the German aviation standard. It appears on the upper surfaces of Luftwaffe machines in combination with RLM 61 and RLM 63, that is in the three-color splinter scheme carried, for example, by the Ju 87, the Do 17, the He 111 or the Bf 110 at the end of the 1930s and in the first war years. It therefore suits builds from the period before the later dark shades took over.
The paint is supplied thinned ready for spraying. With a nozzle of 0.3 mm diameter it needs no further thinning; for finer nozzles and for special techniques use the MRP-T thinner of the same range. The recommended pressure runs roughly between 10 and 25 psi and it is sprayed over a base color. The surface once dry is satin, drying is quick and the coverage very good. The paint is not meant for brush application.
Wash and degrease the model before painting and let the surface cure thoroughly. Lay on several thin layers one after another, because one heavy layer floods the detail. The boundaries between the fields of a splinter camouflage are hard, so it is best to work with masks rather than with a free spray. Once dry the shade can be given a coat of gloss varnish under decals and unified again with a matte varnish. After work, clean the airbrush with the thinner of the same range or with a cleaner meant for lacquers.
The package holds one bottle of paint of 30 ml. Thinner, base paint, varnish and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
