This form matches the late F-104G machines in 1:48 scale - the equipment of the cockpits changed during the long service of the type, and anyone building a machine from the later years will reach for exactly this variant.
The Lockheed F-104G Starfighter came about as the multirole version of the famous interceptor for the European members of NATO. Licensed production ran in several European countries and the type served from the 1960s to the end of the Cold War; the last operators were still retiring it in the 1990s and later. Its miniature trapezoidal wings are characteristic, as is the performance thanks to which the machine reached twice the speed of sound.
Separate the panel from the casting block with a fine saw or a scalpel, sand the mating surface and glue it with super glue. The steel belts shape well - bend them before fitting so that they follow the seat. The result can be evened out with satin varnish, and no further painting is needed.
This is an accessory for a kit - the aircraft model itself is not included in the package.
