It is an extensive big set of cast resin parts that gathers a larger number of details for superdetailing the F-14D carrier-borne fighter in one place. It typically contains finely rendered elements of the electronics, the gun, the landing gear bays, the cockpit fittings and other places that a plastic kit simplifies. The set is meant for models of the F-14D Tomcat in 1:48 scale.
The Grumman F-14D Super Tomcat was the most advanced version of the American carrier-borne fighter with variable-geometry wings. It was marked by digital avionics and powerful engines and served with the US Navy until the middle of the first decade of this century.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks and wash off the remains of the mold release agent. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting, and the detail will come out after a wash and pigments. Sand the resin with respiratory protection and compare the parts with the corresponding places on the kit beforehand.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
