This is a multi-layer 3D decal printed on backing decal paper which reproduces the equipment of the cockpit in full color and with fine relief. It is not a kit or an aircraft model, but a detail accessory intended for F-14D Tomcat models in 1:48 scale. It replaces the laborious painting of the interior and photo-etched sets.
The Tomcat was a two-seat carrier fighter of the navy with variable-geometry wings. The D version brought modernized digital avionics and new cockpit instrumentation, which this set captures.
