F-15E - engine nozzles 1:48 is a resin detail set that replaces the exhaust nozzles of a plastic model of the F-15E fighter with more faithful parts. The set is meant for the Revell kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the maker Metallic Details is not a model of the aircraft but a set of replacement parts. It holds resin and photo-etched components for building detailed exhaust nozzles of the twin-engine F-15E aircraft in 1:48 scale. It replaces the simplified nozzles from the basic kit and markedly raises the realism of the rear end of the model. It starts from the dimensions of the Revell kit.
The McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) F-15E Strike Eagle is an American two-seat multirole strike aircraft derived from the F-15 fighter. It is powered by a pair of jet engines with afterburning, whose nozzles are among the most demanding areas of a model to look at.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Bend the photo-etched parts on an edge. The inside of the nozzles comes into its own once it is painted in metallic and burnt shades and given gentle weathering.
This is not a complete model of the aircraft but a detail accessory. The basic Revell kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
