Rise144models F-16, open engine exhaust nozzle (1:48), is a 3D printed resin accessory for F-16 models with the General Electric engine.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin, 3D printed detail set brings a faithful replacement for the exhaust nozzle of the General Electric F110 series engine for models of the F-16 fighter in 1:48 scale. It offers the nozzle in the open position with fine ring detail on the petals inside and out, which the plastic parts from a kit usually cannot manage. It is not an aircraft model but a refining accessory intended to be swapped for the part from the base kit.
The versions of the F-16 with the General Electric F110 engine have a characteristic nozzle of large diameter and a different geometry of the petals compared with the versions with the Pratt and Whitney engine. The open position of the nozzle matches the state of a machine with the engine shut down on the ground.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts, separate them carefully from the print supports and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The metallic and heat-stressed shades of a nozzle stand out with the help of metallic paints, pigments and washes to bring out the layering of the petals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
