A highly detailed injection-molded plastic kit of the American single-engine multirole fighter F-16CJ Block 50 Fighting Falcon in 1:48 scale from Tamiya. The kit is known for its precision and clean parts and includes an extensive load of underwing armament. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The F-16CJ Block 50 is a single-engine version of the widely used lightweight multirole fighter F-16 Fighting Falcon. It is mainly associated with Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD) missions, in which it carries AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles. Besides strikes on ground radars, it also handles classic fighter tasks.
Thanks to a modular forward fuselage, the kit lets you build the aircraft before or after an antenna modification. Finish the cockpit and landing gear before closing the fuselage, and use thin liquid plastic cement in the seams. Apply a primer before painting and spray the gray schemes with an airbrush in thin coats; for a modern look, a light panel wash and a matte final varnish work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
