Eduard Brassin 1:48 F-16CJ Block 52 engine is a resin detail set of the complete powerplant for 1:48 F-16CJ Block 52 models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an airplane model but a separate powerplant, which on 1:48 F-16CJ Block 52 models can be displayed drawn out of the rear fuselage or placed on a workshop dolly in a diorama.
The Block 52 version of the F-16 uses the Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-229 turbofan engine. The resin set captures the engine body, the exhaust nozzle and the details of the accessories, which the plastic from the box only suggests. A displayed engine is a rewarding subject for a maintenance scene.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the nozzle in metallic shades with heat staining toward blue and brown, shade the engine body with metallic and oily tones and pick out the wiring and the piping.
This is an accessory, not a complete kit. It requires a matching base model, which is not included in the package. Glue and paints are not enclosed.
