A set of photo-etched metal parts for the two-seat F-16D Block 30 in 1:48 scale. It replaces coarser plastic shapes with thin photo-etched sheet.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-16D is the two-seat form of the F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter; the second cockpit behind the pilot serves both for training and for operating additional equipment. Block 30 is one of the earlier production blocks and differs from the later series in equipment and in small details on the airframe. Because individual machines differ from one another even within the same block, compare photographs of the machine you want to build before you start.
A set of photo-etched metal parts for 1:48 scale. Photo-etched sheet is thinner than anything that can be made in plastic, so parts made from it look correct to scale at this size. Which parts the set carries, where they belong and which kit it is cut for are described in the manufacturer's instructions.
Separate a part with a sharp blade as close to the carrier edge as possible and sand the remainder back. Bend in a bender or over a straight edge; make the bend in a single movement, as repeated bending will crack the edge. The joint is held by cyanoacrylate or epoxy, and a drop on the tip of a toothpick is enough. Before spraying, wash the parts, degrease them and give them a primer coat.
For modelers who want to take a model all the way in detail and do not mind working with tweezers. It also suits a first step into photo-etch, as long as you try the bending out on the largest parts first, where a mistake is less likely.
The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
