A package from the bundle line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard, made for the F-35B Lightning II model in 1:48 scale. The bundle brings together in one package several add-on sets that Eduard also sells separately. It is not a kit of the aircraft: the base plastic model has to be owned already.
The Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II is the variant of the single-seat fifth-generation combat aircraft adapted for short takeoff and vertical landing. It differs from the other versions in its propulsion arrangement, with a lift fan behind the cockpit and a swiveling engine nozzle, which shows in the shapes of the upper and lower fuselage. A model of such an aircraft has an extensive cockpit with a large-area display and a number of fine surface features, so add-on sets show above all in the places that are clearly visible once the build is done.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, and never tear them out. Bend them in a bending tool or between two blades so that the edge comes out sharp and straight. Do not spray over the pre-painted parts, or you will lose their printing; they are glued with spots of cyanoacrylate glue or with a thin glue for photo-etch. Stick the self-adhesive masks onto a perfectly clean, degreased surface, press them down with a wooden stick and spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not run under the edge. Peel the mask off while the paint is still fresh.
This is a set of add-ons, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
