A resin, 3D-printed detail set, not a model of the aircraft. It brings a faithfully shaped external fuel tank of 600 gallons, of the kind hung on the Phantom to extend its range. Production without parting lines captures the clean aerodynamic shape of the tank.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat supersonic multirole combat aircraft, one of the most widespread Western machines of the Cold War. For long-range flights it carried large drop tanks on the centerline and underwing pylons.
Wash the parts clean of uncured print resin, cut off the print supports and clean them up with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray a primer and a shade matching the stores or the underside of the aircraft; bring out the panel lines with a fine wash.
The set holds the resin parts of the tank only. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
