This is a resin detail set that replaces the cockpit of the plastic kit of the two-seat F-4 Phantom II fighter in the C version. The set brings faithfully cast tubs for both cockpits with richly defined side consoles, instrument panels and seats. The parts match the early C version used by the US Air Force.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is an American twin-engine, two-seat multirole fighter. The C version was one of the first variants operated by the US Air Force. The aircraft was marked by powerful engines and the ability to carry a wide range of armament.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with your airways protected. Since this is a two-seat cockpit, check the fit of both tubs; bring the fine instrument markings out with a wash and finish the painting before the fuselage is closed.
