A resin detail set, not an aircraft model. The set replaces the two-seat cockpit of the legendary McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighter in the E and F versions with a faithfully cast interior: tubs for both cockpits, instrument panels, side walls and ejection seats with belts. It is intended for kits of this aircraft in 1:48 scale and raises the detail of the tandem cockpit considerably.
The F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat supersonic multirole fighter and one of the most important combat aircraft of the Cold War. The E version brought an internal gun and modernized avionics, while the F version was the fighter of the Luftwaffe. The Phantom served with a number of air forces around the world for decades.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and rid them of mold release residue from the mold. Cut off the casting blocks carefully with a saw and level the surfaces; wear a respirator when sanding resin, as the dust is harmful. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with ordinary plastic cement. Apply a base primer before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
