Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the manufacturer Quinta Studio gives the cockpit of a model three-dimensional, pre-colored detail. The elements on decal paper have relief, so the instrument panels, the side consoles and the controls do not look flat. The set is intended for the late form of the F-4G; the manufacturer lists the early form as a separate item. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for a model.
The F-4G Phantom II Wild Weasel was a two-seat machine derived from the F-4E and deployed to find and suppress the radars of an air defense system. The rear cockpit belonged to a special systems operator. The cockpit equipment changed during service, so the late machines differ from the early ones in their interior, and that is why two different sets exist.
The elements are cut out one at a time, soaked briefly and transferred onto the plastic part. They hold best on a smooth, degreased base sprayed with gloss varnish. Pressing with a soft brush will make sure the element beds down into the relief and to the edges; do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they attack the printed resin. The original molded detail is usually best sanded off first. Finish the cockpit and seal it with matte varnish before you close the fuselage up.
