This resin Aires set in 1:48 scale is a detail accessory, not an airplane model. It replaces the cockpit in an F-4G kit with faithfully cast instrument panels, side consoles, seats and other features that injection-molded plastic usually simplifies.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4G Wild Weasel was a specialized version of the two-seat Phantom II jet aircraft meant for suppressing enemy air defenses. It carried sensors and systems for finding and destroying radars and was operated from the late Cold War era. The crew of two matches the two cockpits in the set.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The interior is best painted and assembled before the fuselage is closed. The instruments come into their own once picked out with a dark wash and a dry brush.
