A resin detail set from Aires for 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket accessory. It replaces the box-standard speed brakes (airbrakes) with more faithful resin parts and makes it possible to model them in the deployed position with the detail of the inner wells.
The F-5E Tiger II is a light supersonic fighter. Thanks to its simplicity and low running costs it was used by a number of air arms around the world, often for training duties as well.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Protect your airways when sanding resin. The brakes can be fitted in the open position, which reveals the detail of the inner space on a finished model.
The plastic kit itself and glue are not included in the package.
