A resin detail set, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the forward fuselage of the American swept-wing Republic F-84F Thunderstreak jet fighter-bomber in 1:48 scale. It brings a correctly shaped nose with the air intake that corrects the inaccuracy of the parts from the box and matches the real aircraft better. The set is meant for advanced modelers with resin experience.
The shape of the nose and of the air intake leading edge defines the characteristic silhouette of the whole aircraft. The resin replacement with its accurate section removes the mismatch of the plastic parts that otherwise makes the model look distorted. Once cleaned up and painted, it joins the fuselage without any jarring transitions.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
