A set of die-cut self-adhesive New Ware masks in 1:48 scale for painting the model of the American carrier-based Vought F-8E and F-8J Crusader fighter. The masks are punched from thin kabuki (washi) paper with a mild adhesive that holds on the glazing and leaves no marks. It is neither a kit nor a finished model - it is an accessory for spraying the clear parts and other surfaces cleanly. The EXPERT designation is the most complete level of the set.
The Vought F-8 Crusader was an American supersonic carrier-based fighter with its characteristic variable-incidence wing. It was nicknamed the last of the gunfighters. It saw service above all in the Vietnam War; the F-8E and the modernized F-8J served with carrier squadrons of the US Navy.
This is a set of masks, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package. The masks are cut for one specific model of this aircraft in this scale - before buying, make sure they match your kit.
