An injection-molded plastic kit of the American carrier fighter McDonnell F3H-2M Demon in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss. The kit has a detailed cockpit, landing gear bays and a clear canopy; check the exact contents of the box against the enclosed instructions. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The McDonnell F3H Demon was an American subsonic carrier fighter aircraft with a swept wing, which served with the US Navy from the second half of the 1950s. The version with the M suffix was adapted to carry guided missiles, and the Demon became one of the first carrier fighters armed with air-to-air missiles. In design it was the predecessor of the later famous Phantom II.
Finish and paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays before you close the fuselage. Mask the canopy and spray the framing separately. Fit the external stores and any missiles only at the end. Spray the base coat over a primer; for naval schemes, gloss and matte shades with the decals set over a gloss clear coat work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
