F4F Gun Barrels PRINT, 1:48 Scale are 3D-printed resin barrels for the wing-mounted machine guns, made for models of the Grumman Wildcat fighter. They replace the plastic imitations from the kit.

A detail set of wing machine gun barrels made by direct 3D printing in resin, made for models of the Grumman Wildcat fighter in 1:48 scale. The thin printed barrels have an accurate profile and sharp muzzles, which plastic can practically never achieve, and they are not prone to bending the way pulled parts are.
The Wildcat was armed with a battery of large-caliber machine guns mounted in the wings. It is precisely their barrels and cooling slots that are among the details that immediately catch the eye on a model, and a coarse plastic imitation noticeably lets it down.
Wash the parts free of release agent, carefully separate them from the carrier frame, and glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Handle the thin barrels gently so they do not break. Once glued in place, simply paint them a metallic shade and highlight lightly.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
