A colored 3D interior decal on carrier paper from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale. The detail is printed on flexible film with real relief, so the instrument panel, the side consoles, the seat and the belts all read as three-dimensional. The colors and labels are pre-printed, so the cockpit does not have to be painted by hand. The set is intended for the Eduard kit.
The Grumman F6F Hellcat was an American carrier fighter of the Second World War, a tough and reliable machine that earned an excellent reputation in the fighting in the Pacific. The F6F-3E and F6F-3N versions were night variants with radar, adapted for operating in the dark and in poor visibility, which showed in the equipment of the cockpit as well.
The features are cut out, soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the carrier paper onto the interior parts. They have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on gloss varnish, with which you go over the surface beforehand; in broken-up places a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. It is advisable to work in sections, to degrease the surfaces beforehand and to lay a dark color under the instrument panel.
The set holds only the interior 3D decals. The base Eduard kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
