This is a resin set of pilot seats without seat harnesses for a model of the American carrier fighter aircraft the Grumman F6F Hellcat in 1:48 scale. The package holds two pieces. The set is not a standalone kit but a detail accessory for the cockpit: a precisely cast seat with thin walls and a fine rendering will replace the coarser plastic part from the box.
A resin seat has a more faithful shape and thinner edges than an injection-molded part and it lifts the look of an open cockpit. Two pieces let you use one as a replacement if the other is damaged. The seat is supplied without seat harnesses: those can be added with photo-etched parts or with fabric seat belts separately.
First wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them down. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin and apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without seat harnesses. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
