Responsibility details are not available.
This set holds precise self-adhesive New Ware painting masks for a model of the American carrier fighter Vought F7U-3 and F7U-3M Cutlass in 1:48 scale. This is not a model but an aid which eases a clean spray of the canopy glazing and further elements. The masks are laser-cut out of fine washi (rice paper) tape, they copy the shapes of the canopy frames precisely and, once the paint has been applied, they come off with no adhesive residue.
The Vought F7U Cutlass was an American carrier fighter from the fifties, striking for its tailless configuration with two vertical surfaces on the wing and a swept wing. It was a technically bold yet operationally demanding type of the US Navy. The F7U-3 and F7U-3M forms were among the production variants.
First coat the glazing with the color of the frames, then with the outer color. Transfer the masks carefully, press them down along the frames and lift them off once dry. The inner surfaces of the glazing stay clean and transparent. The masks are single-use.
These are painting masks, not a model. The paints, the kit and glue are not included in the package.
