Resin detail parts in 1:48 scale from Aires, the Quickboost range. It is not a kit of an aircraft but an accessory, which replaces the barrels of the onboard guns with a more accurate resin rendering with a crisper muzzle shape. The parts are seated in the forward section of a model.
The Lockheed F-80C Shooting Star was an American jet fighter of the end of the 1940s and the beginning of the 1950s, one of the first operationally committed jet fighters of the US Air Force. The armament was concentrated in the forward fuselage.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Protect your airways when sanding. The metallic look of the barrels is brought out with dark shading and gentle polishing.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
